I need you to start singing Earth Wind & Fire’s “Do You Remember” because that is what my son is singing here while stroking the golf cart.
He came home from school and lept onto it and did everything short of humping.
You see our twins haven’t had the golf cart since last summer.
Our oldest boys are 15.
The golf cart takes them to their friends, the clubhouse to eat, the ponds to go fishing….
Why haven’t they had the golf cart since summer? They let a pretty (and really nice girl) drive the golf cart.
She had never driven one before and she drove it straight into the wall of an underground tunnel.

What did my identical twin boys do after letting a pretty girl smash the entire front end of the family golf cart?
A. Come and find me and apologize
B. Come home and round up all their money and brought it to me and offered to pay to fix it
C. Drive it home and use white craft duct tape with balloons printed all over it to hold the front end together with the headlights taped on the hood
It’s been six months so you can probably guess C.
He was actually singing “Do you remember..”
See his blurry arm? Blurry because he was petting it. I honestly love that he chose that song as his “reuniting song” to sing.
I needed a bottle of Asti Spumanti to fully set the stage for the oldest 15 year olds ever.

This is why I forgive them. When I was their age I would have tried to drive to Canada.
