That first photo is fabulous. I’ve been in Michigan my whole life, know nothing about flowers, and yet have heard of hydrangeas. I’m smarter than I knew!
Well I spent the first 21 years of my life in MIchigan and when I saw a Smurf blue hydrangea the size of a Volkswagen in NC I fell madly in love. We had a group up in Grand Blanc who really wanted us to move back and Jim kept telling them I refused to move anywhere a crepe myrtle wouldn’t grow. Think of a lilac without fragrance but blooms for 100 days in either pink, hot pink, purple or white. and blooms at the the top of an umbrella tree. Flowers make me very happy. The private practice called me and offered to build us a greenhouse! Ha ha! nooooooo…
I’m thinking that you took these photos, and they are fabulous.
Totally took them. Just snapshots. I really enjoy working in the dirt and if I were to judge per square inch the most rewarding flower divided by the work, hydrangea is hands down winner. Good clay soil does the magic of the blue and purple I longed for growing up in Michigan.
I’m just back from vacation to the mountains in India where I saw hydrangeas blooming…that means it’s relatively cool for us! Back home, in Mumbai, flowers are hardly seen. I would love a glass of sangria – if I only knew how to make it!
I am honestly not a big drinker so I have to google it everytime! Ha ha! I like sweet things and fruit! It’s wine and fruit and triple sec… Punch! It’s just punch! Ha ha! I think it’s beautiful! I love watching it marinating in the pitcher! snapped the picture to summons my neighbor girls over for hanging out! If you were here I would pour you one! 🙂
“The Hydrangeas are Blooming, Do You Know What That Means?”
That you have pretty flowers to look at now?
That should be enough right? Totally! Over achiever makes the sangria!
Beautiful!
Thank you !
Your welcome!
