Red is the New March and How it Made Us All Modern Hippies

April 14, 2013

As I see folks avatars changing back to their regular and best version of themselves out here in the great big world of social media I switched over to see what was going on in my private and personal, very personal, and small circle of family and friends. The Girl Who Cried Redbook (but I am really in this months issue, REALLY!)

February 8, 2013

Me, (nervously texting husband Jim at his doctors office) “Ummmm.  We are in Redbook this month.  Don’t kill me.” A very long period of time goes by.   I even gave him allowances in case he was resuscitating someone. Flowers for Hurricane and Lessons Learned

August 29, 2012

I grew up in the midwest and in fear of tornados that could form quickly and in the middle of the night. We moved to North Carolina during hurricane season.

It seems like such a gift that we know when a hurricane is coming, days in advance.

Katrina made me think.
